Tiger Woods is the most marketed athlete in sports. He has contracts with all different types of companies and an excellent image. It was recently found out that Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. I am curious to see how his endorsements and popularity will be affected because of this. I think cheating on your wife is one of the worst things that a person can do. A lot of the women that he slept with probably were only there because of his money and fame. I hope that he deosn't lose too much money and his image remains the same. He made a mistake, but no one is perfect. In twelve years I have never seen Tiger Woods get negative coverage about his personal life until this point.
I believe he will end up losing some sponsorships and popularity because of these alogations unless he handles it properly. I think he will be ok though because he is showing remorce and keeping things private with his family which is what you need to do in these situations. I like Tiger and what he has done for golf so i really hope he doesnt fall from grace after this situation
ReplyDeleteNow that it has been several weeks since this news initially broke, we have seen much more widespread coverage than could have been imagined. Even on popular network shows like Entertainment Tonight, Tiger has been the lead story. I hear someone say that while men are disappointed, women are livid about Tiger's cheating. This suggests that it will be a long time (if ever) until Tiger has the image he once had.
